How many of you are into Facebook fan pages and "Link Love"? I know i am!
I have seen that many users are not taking advantage of the ability that Facebook provides of assigning a username to your page (or profile). Below, I will explain how to set this.
First of all, you may be wondering... "how do I know if I have usernames enabled or not?", or "I think I have it enabled, my fan page's name is on my URL."
If your URL for your fan page has the following format: http://www.facebook.com/pages/NAME/ID ( i.e.: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Pink-Studi os/282051184811 ) your username is NOT enabled.
However, if your fan page's URL looks anything like this: http://www.facebook.com/NAME/ ( i.e.: http://www.facebook.com/pinkstudios ) your username IS enabled.
How-To:
To enable usernames:
- Go to: http://www.facebook.com/username
- On that page you'll be able to set a username for your facebook profile and your facebook fan pages.
- Click on: "Set a username for your Pages."

- On this new page, you'll see:
Pages: and a drop down menu next to it - From that drop down list select the page you wish to set a username for.
- Once selected, you'll see a text box next to it, in which you will be able to type your desired username for this page.
- Click: "Check Availability".
- If the username is available, a new window will pop up with important information and from there you'll be able to Confirm your username. * Remember: You will not be able to edit or transfer this username once you set it. *

- Once you Confirm it (and it's available), your username will be set.
- Click "OK"
- Now your facebook fan page has a "prettier" web address.
