Have you ever visited a Facebook Fan page and noticed that instead of taking you to their main/default profile where you see their profile photo, info, wall, photos, etc... [see photo #1], you are taken to a different landing page with a banner image [see photo #2]?

Below, in a few simple steps I will show you how to add this Welcome Tab to your Facebook Fan Page.
How-To:
- Login to your Facebook account.
- Visit the following link: http://apps.facebook.com/welcometab/. This link is the actual Welcome Tab application that you'll be enabling in the next few steps.
- On that page, click on the orange "Get Started" button located on the bottom right corner.
- The previous step, will redirect you to an "Add Welcome Tab for pages?" screen.
- On the "Add Welcome Tab for pages?" screen, you will be asked to choose to which page you want to add the tab. If you have multiple Fan pages, then all of them will show up in that drop-down list. Choose the page where you want to add the tab.
- After you've chosen a page, an "Add Welcome Tab for pages" button will be generate it underneath. Click on that button.
- Now, you'll be redirected to your fan page.
- On your Fan page profile, click the "+" sign at the end of your tabs.
*Notice that your tabs might not be the identical from the image below* - After clicking the "+" sign, the following window will show up. Click on Welcome.

- Now, you'll be redirected to the Welcome Tab. Once there you'll have to register your installation by filling some basic information.
- Underneath, you'll see "Management Console for Welcome Tab". Inside that box you'll see the following code:
<img src='http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4034/4429125619_d77d8d4cba_o.jpg'></img>
You should upload the image you want to use to your hosting service, and replace the bold area on the previous line for the actual image's URL you want to use.
*Note: We've noticed it doesn't work with Photobucket or Flickr. If you can confirm this, let us know.* - After this, click "Save Changes" and you are ready to go. Visit your Fan page again and you'll see the Welcome Tab there.
